Moose is adopted. What should I do with this blog? I can't seem to get the new owners of Moose to take over posting (as much as I'd like it). I wonder if I should keep this or let it go or just abandon it. Any thoughts?
If the new owners aren't going to post - and not everyone is internet/blog inclined - keep the blog alive as (a) a tribute to the Moose and your brief but excellent time together; and (b) a great advertisement for OES rescue.
Tho' I am sure you may have other things to do... it's a fun read and a great plus for rescue. I know a few of us regulars on the oes.org site look at your blog hoping to get more great news of Moose.
Moose was adopted in July of 2008 and is living happily with his new family in North Carolina. Many thanks go out to Rachel Lucas, John Sibley, Kathy Buck, Belinda and all the others (too many to count) who helped in the effort to find this wonderful, loving little dog a new home. Special thanks to Marie Harrington of Dixie OES Rescue in Florida.
[Original description of Moose follows] Moose came with his name "Moose" but when we found he is only 45 pounds he became "Mini Moose".
He is a deaf 18 month old sheepie. He was born December 26, 2006. Until he came into rescue he had never lived in a house. He is VERY smart and VERY sweet. To find out more information on his personality come back often, with lots of videos and pictures, you'll get a feel for the real Moose! Moose is being fostered near Atlanta, GA.
